Our Development team is growing and we’re looking for a .NET Backend Developer who is deeply passionate about building high-quality features and mastering modern technologies, with a particular focus on architecture and AWS cloud infrastructure. We seek someone eager to continually expand their expertise in .NET 7/8, C# 11 and to drive their growth in cloud-native development and infrastructure-as-code. The Role
As a .NET Full-Stack Developer, you will be part of a driven and supportive team that’s always striving to deliver value to our customers by shipping new features and helping our platform scale.
- Write high-quality, well-tested code while understanding customer and business needs.
- Design, develop, maintain, and deploy well-tested services, with a focus on scalability and cloud-readiness.
- Contribute to the evolution of our AWS-based infrastructure, including serverless architecture and DevOps practices.
- Look for opportunities to improve our product, processes, code base, and technology stack — especially in areas related to cloud performance, reliability, and automation.
- Provide in-depth analysis and resolutions to complex problems reported by our users.
- Participate in team story and task breakdowns, code reviews, retrospectives, and lunch and learn.

- Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent training/experience.
- 3+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong understanding of how web applications work.
- Strong understanding of C#, .NET Core, .NET 6/7/8, Web API, MVC, Design patterns, REST, SPA, Git/SVN.
- Experience with persistence storage and ORM (SQL/NoSQL).
- Familiarity with cloud-native development, especially using AWS services like EC2, Route53, VPC, Security Groups, Lambda, S3, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
- Experience in Unit/Integration Testing and CI/CD pipeline.
- Experience with MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Redis, RabbitMQ, MassTransit.
- Agile experience (Sprint/Kanban).
- Self-motivated, goal-driven, and a team player with a positive attitude. Passionate about technology and continuous learning, with a focus on cloud-native architecture, specifically AWS. Proficient in designing secure and scalable solutions leveraging cloud services.
Bonus Points If You Have
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools.
- Understanding of cloud security best practices and experience implementing security measures in AWS environments.
- Experience with security scanning tools and vulnerability management.
- Experience with identity and access management (IAM) in cloud environments.
- Experience with Linux, Docker, AWS CLI, infrastructure-as-code (e.g., CloudFormation or Terraform).

What to Expect in Your First 90 Days:
- Onboard and integrate with the Development team, including tailored 1-on-1s.
- Complete Method's Bootcamp, focusing on cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.
- Understand Method's values, cloud-native tools, architectural best practices, and how teams collaborate to achieve outcomes.
- Learn system integrations, codebase navigation for troubleshooting, and architectural design patterns.
- Implement code refactoring and minor improvements from the product backlog, enhancing readability, testability, maintainability, cloud scalability, and DevOps automation.
- Contribute to the Development team's culture, cloud-focused processes, and architectural best practices.
- Gain confidence in code ownership, cloud deployments, and infrastructure-as-code management.
- Assist with daily releases, cloud monitoring, and infrastructure change management.
- Increase autonomy, practice full-stack ownership across the platform, including architecture and DevOps.
- Collaborate with your manager to set yearly goals aligned with cloud, architecture, and DevOps strategies.
