Manager, Partner Marketing

Method is growing its Partner Marketing efforts, and we’re looking for a leader to spearhead our strategy. You’ll play a key role in building new strategic partnerships while growing and empowering our existing base of accounting partners. Sound like your kind of challenge? Here’s what you’ll be doing:
  • Lead our Partner Marketing program, driving everything from new sign-up growth to onboarding optimizations to the partner commission model.
  • Build strong, mutually beneficial relationships with partners, acting as their go-to advisor
  • Develop and grow new strategic partnerships with larger stakeholders to drive meaningful growth in the partner program 
  • Create strategies and tactical plans to improve key metrics like partner sign-ups and referral rates, using new initiatives and tests to drive results.
  • Execute end-to-end campaigns to boost awareness and adoption of partner initiatives across multiple channels, like email, social, social media, paid media, and virtual events.
  • Own and manage the Partner Marketing budget, allocating resources strategically across campaigns, events, and initiatives to maximize ROI and drive measurable impact.
  • Collaborate with the content team to shape and execute the content strategy for Beyond the Books, increasing partner awareness and driving sign-ups through webinars, social media, and more.
  • Grow and foster engagement in our partner community through Slack channels and Facebook groups.
  • Plan and execute events, from large-scale conference event activations to smaller, targeted meet-ups.
  • Manage and mentor a junior Partner Manager, providing guidance on KPIs, project execution, and professional growth while ensuring high-quality program management.

We’re looking for someone with:
  • Ideally 2-4 years of experience in partner marketing, preferably in a B2B SaaS company.
  • Sales or consulting experience (a plus): Someone who understands the challenges that the end partner will face and can act as a sales consultant to their businesses.
  • A results-oriented approach with a proven track record of improving partner metrics like sign-ups and referrals.
  • A data-driven mindset with a knack for using analytics to optimize performance and drive measurable results.
  • A strategic marketing perspective with expertise in multiple growth channels.
  • Leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and manage a team or direct report to deliver results.
  • Exceptional multitasking skills and energy for both high-level strategy and hands-on execution.
  • Bonus points for experience working with accountants or familiarity with accounting workflows.

Hybrid Policy
We are currently on a flexible hybrid schedule where employees work in the office 2-3 days per week.

In your first 30 days you will:
  • Complete Method’s product bootcamp.
  • Understand Method’s values and how our teams collaborate to drive results.
  • Learn and become an expert of our internal communication tools, norms, and practices.
  • Develop product knowledge, understanding Method’s key features, product market fit
  • Learn about the partnership program, and meet our top partners.
  • Attend your first partner update call.

In your first 60 days you will:
  • Take over relationship management with key partners 
  • Summarize & share any recommendations for growth or optimizations (quick wins + long term strategies)
  • Begin outreach to start building new strategic partnership program 
  • Collaborate with Content team on Beyond the Books content strategy

In your first 90 days you will:
  • Start implementing quick wins that you’ve identified to the partner program, testing new strategies and initiatives to improve your metrics

Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 annually. The base salary for this role is $72,000 - $90,000 per year. Additional variable compensation is paid out monthly post onboarding period.
